I am Amanda Theobald a freshman at Georgetown University. I was born and raised in Naples, Florida. I am currently in the McDonough School of Business looking to major in Management and Marketing.

Attending Georgetown has always been a lifelong dream of mine as my parents both met here. Both my parents received their undergraduate degrees here and my dad attended the Georgetown Medical School and my mom attended Georgetown Law. So far I have really grown through my academic experiences at Georgetown and gained a new sense of purpose and hard-work.

Outside of the Georgetown classroom I have been interning in the U.S. House of Representatives for Congressman Francis Rooney. This experience has really helped me become immersed in the political world and the DC culture. I have been able to see more of the city and know the area around me.
